Messi reveals name of third son
Lionel Messi has announced his third son will be named Ciro. The Barcelona and Argentina superstar and his wife Antonella Roccuzzo are expecting their third child to be born at the end of this month or in early March. Messi confirmed the name on his Instagram account with a video that appeared to show the infant kicking inside his mother's womb. Roccuzzo and Messi married last year and already have two sons, Thiago and Mateo.

At the weekend River Plate and Lanus fielded reserve sides in their Argentine league games. Both lost 4-0, but they were happy to keep their stars fresh for this crunch meeting in the Copa Libertadores, South America's version of the Champions League. And what a night it turned out to be. In last Tuesday's first semifinal leg, River Plate won by the only goal. Their victory was twofold. First, the obvious -- they were ahead at the halfway stage.
